As he chases his 100th career home run Bryce Harper has made a slight alteration to his equipment, and it’s exactly the sort of thing you would expect from a 23-year-old.

Harper smashed his 99th career homer on Thursday and needs just one more for his first triple-digit milestone. Naturally, he’s hoping to hit the monumental blast with a bat sporting the 100 emoji.

There’s one problem, though. MLB isn’t exactly playing along with Harper’s “Make Baseball Fun Again” campaign. Customized bat knob decals have been outlawed this season. Oh well, he can probably still use it in batting practice.
