The Twins paid tribute to music legend and lifelong Minnesotan Prince with a pregame ceremony on Monday.
Prince died on Thursday at age 57 and all four of Minnesota’s major pro teams have offered tributes. The Twins were on the road at the time of his death and lit up Target Field in all purple.
The team planned a more elaborate remembrance at the start of the homestand on Monday. Before first pitch, the team released seven white doves on the mound.
