Minor league baseball teams always come up with unique and creative promotional ideas, but is it possible to go too far?
On Monday, the Triple A Omaha Storm Chasers decided to poke fun at a player on the opposing team while offering a discount at the team store. They deleted the tweet, but it’s preserved here.
Broxton isn’t exactly a great fielder. In 757 career minor league games in left and center, he’s got 37 errors. Maybe that’s why the Storm Chasers decided to scrap the promotion and issue an apology.
Tonight's Markdown Monday Promotion has been cancelled due to an unfortunate lapse in judgement. Apologies to those who took exception.

Maybe Broxton will prove them all wrong and snag some web gems instead.
