The entire sports world is impressed with Leicester City, but some people don’t seem to know exactly what the Foxes did. 

At a press conference promoting Amir Khan’s weekend fight against Canelo Alvarez, Oscar De La Hoya gave Leicester a shoutout for winning the wrong competition.

Uh, Oscar, they actually won the English Premier League. The UEFA Cup doesn’t even exist anymore (back in 2009 they renamed it the UEFA Europa League).

Khan is from England, so he probably knows a thing or two about the Premier League. De La Hoya, meanwhile, probably couldn’t pass our “Leicester City player or Harry Potter character” quiz. 

Khan and Alvarez will fight for the middleweight title on Saturday in Las Vegas.
