My favorite part of Thursday were newspapers running with the scoop that "Phil Jackson told Derrick Rose he's going to pursue Kevin Durant." My response: No s.... The problem is 10 other teams with substantially more talent are also pursuing him. And guess what? There's a better chance I play for the Knicks next year than Durant does. Not sure if Jackson is delusional or it's another case of New York overvaluing itself, but this "scoop" is not a scoop at all and the Knicks will be lucky to make the playoffs next year. Rant over.
