Patriots pass-catchers are stealing the show at Fenway this week.
One day after Rob Gronkowski threw out the first pitch, Julian Edelman decided to join the Red Sox for batting practice.
Edelman wasn’t just blindly taking hacks. He apparently hit a bunch of home runs (seven by his count), including as many as three over the Green Monster.

After he was done at the plate, Edelman took a few groundballs at short.

Still, manager John Farrell wasn’t too impressed by what he saw.
Asked for a scouting report on Julian Edelman's BP, John Farrell said: "Good football player."

No matter how impressive Edelman looked in BP, all the fans will care about is whether he throws a strike with his first pitch.
