Finn Balor, Seth Rollins will fight for new belt at SummerSlam

Finn Balor will face Seth Rollins for the new WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam after winning the main event against Roman Reigns on Monday Night Raw.
Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley created the new belt Monday in the wake of Dean Ambrose taking the WWE Championship to Smackdown after the brand extension draft. After each won a fatal four-way match, Balor and Reigns faced each other for the right to battle Rollins for the Universal Championship.
Rollins, who was picked No. 1 overall in the extension draft, was given a bye to the championship match as he’s a personal favorite of McMahon’s.
Balor was making his Raw debut Monday after previously competing on WWE NXT.
SummerSlam will take place on Aug. 16 in Brooklyn.
