Guy Fieri believes he helped land Kevin Durant in Golden State

Guy Fieri apparently helped Kevin Durant come to the Warriors.

Apparently, Guy Fieri is more convincing than Tom Brady.

The cooking superstar claims that he discussed the idea of Kevin Durant coming to the Warriors with the ex-Thunder star's agent, he says in an interview with First We Feast.

”​You can ask his agent, I said it to him during the Playoffs,” Fieri says. “I even have the text. I said, "It's coming up, I want him, you gotta bring him." And he was laughing—yeah, yeah, yeah—and he blew me off. [Then later on] I was away from my cell phone, out on the boat, and I was able to get a signal. In came a note from my buddy: "KD GS," and I went arghhhhhh! I went and woke up the kids.”

And now we wait for a Guy Fieri restaurant to open in Oracle Arena. It's the least Warriors fans can do for landing the help.
