Videos of NBA players swatting little kids, ranked

Here are the 10 best savage rejections of little kids by professional basketball players.

It’s the easiest way for an NBA player to go viral, and the quickest route into the hearts of a fan base: Swatting the heck out of a little kid.

We’ve seen a surge in merciless rejections over the years, with young players like Anthony Davis, Karl-Anthony Towns, Joel Embiid and Kristaps Porzingis getting in on the fun. The videos never get old, even though the result is the same every time.

With that in mind, it’s our pleasure to present to you the 10 best savage rejections of little kids by professional basketball players.

10. Dwyane Wade

Have to admire the determination here. No shot D-Wade is going down in knockout.

9. Karl-Anthony Towns

So effortless.

8. Jahlil Okafor

Not quite Joel Embiid’s rejection (see later in the rankings) but pretty good. Almost hurt the dudes under the radio tent.

7. Andre Drummond

He sent that shot into tomorrow.

6. James Harden

Given James’s defensive prowess, the kids really should have seen these coming.

5. Kristaps Porzingis

This one had a little extra, given the fact that this kid booed Porzingis on draft night.

4. Kevin Durant

Goodness gracious, these are vicious.

3. Dwight Howard

Dwight was one of the first people to make these videos famous. He’s a loveable heel to me.

2. J.R. Smith

Not only did J.R. block this kid, he jumped over him! One of the greatest things J.R. has done, which is saying a lot.

1. Joel Embiid

He straight up spiked this ball. One of the most savage blocks I’ve ever seen.
