A fan in a Mariano Rivera jersey, 29-year-old Andrew Fox, asked his girlfriend, 29-year-old Heather Terwilliger to marry him with the help of the jumbotron at Yankee Stadium. He got one knee and opened the ring box before losing the ring.
The section turned into a pack of ringwraiths before the ring was finally discovered in the leg of Terwilliger’s pants.
He dropped to one knee and proposed again. She said yes.
