No, Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Ann Arbor isn’t giving 78% discounts for Michigan’s big win, but it should

Thankfully, the steakhouse capped their promotion at 50%.

As if the state of Michigan wasn’t feeling good enough coming off the Wolverines’ 78–0 beatdown of Rutgers on Saturday, now they’ve got some massive discounts to look forward to.

Well, they’re not as massive as they really should be. Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Ann Arbor, Mich. sent out a Facebook post on Friday telling folks around the area that they’d get a percentage off based on how much the winner won by. Luckily, they capped it at 50%, based on customers that called up and reported in the comments. They did say they had conditions, and didn’t seem to list them all, so it makes sense that they’d have an emergency plan like this.

That’s still a great deal! But not quite 78%.

That was a close one.
