Watch: Goldberg makes his WWE return after 12 years away

Twelve years after he left, Bill Goldberg was back in a WWE ring on Monday at Raw.

Bill Goldberg made his much-anticipated return to WWE on Monday night at Raw, and could hardly contain the emotion. 

For the first time in 12 years, Goldberg walked to the ring while his epic entrance music played. The reception from the crowd was election and Goldberg appeared to be fighting back tears when he got to the ring. 

Even Colorado governor John Hickenlooper was pumped to see Goldberg back.

Goldberg, as expected, took the mic and announced that he was accepting Brock Lesnar’s challenge for a rematch of their Wrestlemania XX bout. Lesnar will appear on Raw next week to respond to Goldberg’s challenge. 

Goldberg and Lesnar are rumored to be facing off at the Survivor Series pay-per-view next month.
