Hero dog drops puck at Ducks game

As the Anaheim Ducks saluted the armed forces on Sunday, the team welcomed a very special dog out to the ice before their game against the Flames for the honorary puck drop.

As the Anaheim Ducks saluted the armed forces on Sunday, the team welcomed a very special dog out to the ice before their game against the Flames for the honorary puck drop.

Corporal Nero, a bomb-sniffing dog, walked out with a puck in his mouth a kind heart in his chest. It was a touching moment.

Finding bombs, having his ears scratched and playing fetch. That’s all this simple dog does. We should aspire to be more like him.

Thanks, Corporal Nero.
