LeBron James wears Cubs uniform after losing bet to Dwyane Wade

Well, LeBron has made good on his bet.

Well, LeBron has made good on his bet with Dwyane Wade.

The Cavaliers star rolled up to the United Center in Chicago for his game against the Bulls on Friday wearing a full Cubs uniform—a jersey, pants and socks—after his hometown Cleveland Indians fell to Chicago in the World Series. Before the series, he and Wade, his former teammate, agreed to a friendly wager that would require the loser to wear a full uniform to a future meeting between their teams.

The Indians lost in seven games, giving up a 3–1 series lead and allowing Chicago to win its first championship since 1908.

James didn’t wear cleats, though, or bring a glove.

“I got a basketball game to play,” he said at shootaround on Thursday. “No glove. Just the uniform. I will be in uniform.”
