Athletes celebrate their mothers on social media

In honor of Mother's Day, athletes across the country took to Twitter to celebrate and thank their mothers for their care and support over the years.
Major League Baseball players will wear pink on their uniforms. All of the proceeds from sales of Mother's Day merchandise will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation and Stand Up to Cancer.
Here's how some of the players paid tribute on Twitter:
I'm always amazed at what you do for this family on a daily basis. Today is the day we celebrate you. Happy Mother's Day @AmberSabathia pic.twitter.com/KJ5wHjEC0E
