Chiefs Reveal Four Helmet Decals for Super Bowl LVII

When the Chiefs take the field against the Eagles in Super Bowl LVII, their helmets will include a special series of decals on the back.

Kansas City’s helmets will include a Super Bowl LVII logo on the left side. Next to the Big Game emblem is the No. 16 decal that the Chiefs have worn all season on their helmets to commemorate legendary quarterback Len Dawson, who died in August.

Thirdly, the league’s insignia will be placed on the right while the U.S. flag emblem—one that is typically on the left side—will be placed in the back center of the helmet.

The Chiefs will play in their third Super Bowl in four seasons with hopes of winning the franchise’s third title on Sunday in Glendale, Ariz. In doing so, Kansas City will need the best version of its quarterback Patrick Mahomes to accomplish the feat.

Mahomes, who injured his right ankle in the divisional round against the Jaguars, said Monday that his ankle was in a “better position than it was this time last week.”

Kickoff for Sunday’s game is set for 6:30 p.m. ET.
