Fox’s Shannon Sharpe Declares Winner in Chiefs-Eagles Twitter Feud

Former NFL star Shannon Sharpe declared a winner for the online feud between Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster and Eagles wideout AJ Brown while on FS1’s Undisputed on Wednesday morning. From his reasoning, it doesn’t sound like what was said mattered at all—but what actually happened on the field. 

“To the victor goes the spoils. JuJu,” Sharpe said when asked who won the Twitter feud.

Sharpe explained that at the end of the day, Smith-Schuster is the one who won a Super Bowl, while Brown was left with a 38–35 defeat on Sunday. 

“There’s nothing that AJ can say. There’s nothing the Eagles can do,” Sharp continued.

The feud started when the Kansas City wideout posted a meme of Philadelphia cornerback James Bradberry on a Valentine’s Day card that read, “I’ll hold you when it matters most.” This was in reference to the critical holding flag called on Bradberry when the game was tied at 35 with less than two minutes left. Bradberry appeared to tug on Smith-Schuster’s jersey early on in the play, and the ball sailed over the wideout’s head on third-and-8. The penalty negated the stop and the drive went on, resulting in an eventual Super Bowl winning field goal. 

Brown commented on the tweet and took some shots at Smith-Schuster. 

“First off congratulations. Y’all deserve it .This is lame,” Brown said in the tweet. “You was on the way out the league before mahomes resurrected your career on your 1 year deal Tik-Tok boy . He admitted that he grabbed you but don’t act like your like that or ever was. But congratulations again!” 

Smith-Schuster responded with a quick message followed with a ring emoji—a fitting period. 

“Glad you were finally able to get all that off your chest after all these years,” he said. “Good game bro.”
