Heat’s Bam Adebayo, Kevin Love Trade Hilarious Instagram Jabs

Bam Adebayo had a bold welcome message for Kevin Love after the Heat acquired the veteran forward following his buyout from the Cavaliers. Miami’s All-Star center left his new teammate a hilarious comment on his latest Instagram post, telling Love that he’s expecting a big contribution on offense, via Playbook Sports.

“Better Make Some F—--- Shots,” joked Adebayo in his Instagram comment.

Love was quick to reply, informing the Heat star that he had some expectations of his own. Despite being new to town, the 34-year-old didn’t waste any time having a laugh with his teammate.

“Better create some f—--- space,” replied Love, with three middle-finger emojis.

The exchange between Miami’s new frontcourt partnership will surely have fans excited for the second half of the season, as Love hopes to carve out a bigger role for himself with the Heat than he saw in Cleveland this season.

Love and the Cavaliers agreed to a contract buyout at the All-Star break, clearing the path for the veteran forward to join the Heat.

The five-time All-Star had a limited role in Cleveland in 2022-23, averaging a career-low 20.0 minutes per game, scoring just 8.5 points per game and shooting below 40 percent from the field.

The acquisition of Love should help the Heat spread the floor, and Adebayo made clear that he’s expecting the veteran sharpshooter to be burying shots in Miami. So long as the center is creating space in the paint, Love doesn’t anticipate he’ll have any problem making an impact in Miami.

The 16-year veteran seems to be settling in just fine with the Heat, already getting into a funny exchange with his new frontcourt partner on social media.
