President Joe Biden Shares Brackets for Men’s, Women’s NCAA Tournaments

President Joe Biden revealed his selections for both the men’s and women’s NCAA basketball tournaments during the men’s first-round action on Thursday.

Biden does not believe there will be a Cinderella team making a deep run in this year’s men’s tournament based on his selections. He has one No. 1 seed, Kansas, along with three No. 2 seeds—Arizona, Marquette and Texas—making it to this year’s Final Four in Houston. In the title game, Biden has Arizona getting its revenge from last year’s Sweet 16 loss and cutting down the nets in this year’s tournament.

However, in the first round, Biden takes some risks. He has No. 12 Charleston knocking of No. 5 San Diego and No. 10 Utah State defeating No. 7 Missouri. There are no teams seeded lower than No. 4 that will make a trip to the Sweet 16 on Biden's bracket.

On the women’s side, Biden has No. 4 Villanova preventing South Carolina from repeating as national champions. He leans heavily on the bluebloods in the Final Four that include the Wildcats, two No. 1 seeds—the Gamecocks, Stanford—and No. 2 UConn.

Biden has one No. 5 seed, Louisville, and two No. 6 seeded teams—Michigan and North Carolina—making appearances in this year’s Sweet 16. However, overall, he believes AP first-team All-American Maddy Siegrist will lead Villanova to its first national championship.
