This Video of Hayden Wesneski Throwing Pitches That Move Like Wiffle Balls Is So Good

The start of the 2023 MLB season is quickly approaching, which means we’re very close to another year of watching pitchers throwing some absolutely nasty pitches with so much movement that make us wonder how anyone can even get a hit in MLB.
One of those pitchers is Chicago Cubs right-hander Hayden Wesneski. The 25 year old is battling to be the fifth starter for the Cubs and his final start of the spring on Thursday should have locked that spot up for him.
Wesneski struck out five batters in five innings of work against the Diamondbacks and gave up just one run.
While those stats are nice, this video of his nasty stuff is even better:

The movement on those pitches!
MLB fans were rightfully in awe:
A back door breaking ball was the hardest pitch for me to throw. This is disgusting https://t.co/4RN7nYdL8J

If he's legit capable of sustaining bursts of 97 on the fastball ... good luck with that. https://t.co/i2amwoDdNT
