Oakland’s Ramon Laureano Suffered the Most Painful Strikeout of the MLB Season

In this story:
The MLB season is just over a week old and and we’ve already seen some wild things happen, thanks mostly to the new pitch clock that is causing fits for both pitchers and hitters.
On Friday night we saw a unique strikeout that had not nothing to do with that pitch clock and everything to do with pain.
A’s right fielder Ramón Laureano struck out swinging but also got hit by the pitch on the same 90-mph changeup. Because he swung at the pitch before getting hit it was ruled a strikeout, which just had to be the worst way to strikeout.
Check this out:

That's definitely not something you see every day.
MLB fans had reactions:
As long as this is nothing more than a bruise, this is my favorite Ramon Laureano highlight. https://t.co/k2jjaK8FUV
