Lamar Jackson Shares Photo of Him Facetiming Odell Beckham Jr. After Ravens Deal
On the heels of the Ravens landing Odell Beckham Jr. in free agency, Lamar Jackson took a moment on Sunday to shout out the star receiver on social media amid looming questions surrounding his return to the team.
Beckham’s decision to join Baltimore comes at a time when Jackson’s future hangs in the balance after he received a non-exclusive franchise tag in March. Shortly after Sunday’s stunning news, however, Jackson appeared to be in favor of the Ravens’ latest signing, as he shared an Instagram post of a FaceTime call with Beckham along with the caption “⚡️⚡️🚀 #TRUZZ.”
As of Sunday, there have been no new reports regarding the star quarterback’s next move, but Jackson’s public showing of support for the Beckham signing suggests he’s, at least, on board with the move.
Outside of the possible return of Jackson, the Ravens offense is poised to add a nice boost in production with Beckham to a unit that includes notable weapons such as Mark Andrews, J.K. Dobbins, Rashod Bateman and fellow free-agent signing Nelson Agholor.
