NFL Fans Crushed Zach Wilson After the Jets Traded for Aaron Rodgers

The Jets and Packers finally agreed on a deal Monday that sends legendary quarterback Aaron Rodgers to New York for three draft picks.

Rodgers, who likely will wear a new number in 2023, now joins a very fun AFC East that will not be short of storylines heading into this upcoming season. 

Rodgers’s move to the Jets means Zach Wilson, the quarterback the team picked No. 2 overall in the 2021 NFL draft, will no longer be the team’s starter. Wilson had a rough 2022 season that saw him get benched down the stretch. 

After the season, Wilson made noise by saying this about the team possibly bringing in a veteran QB: “Yeah, I’m going to make that dude’s life hell in practice everyday.”

Naturally, fans had lots of jokes about Wilson after Monday’s news broke:
