NFL World Trying to Decipher Lamar Jackson’s Cryptic Spongebob Meme
With the future of Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson thoroughly up in the air as the NFL draft approaches, all eyes are on Baltimore with the most important position on the field remaining uncertain.
The Ravens used the non-exclusive franchise tag on Jackson, which would pay the quarterback in excess of $34 million this season if he signed his tender. He has not signed it as he seeks an extension, and no team has been willing to tender an offer sheet to Jackson due to the steep price of two first-round picks that would have to go back to Baltimore if Jackson ended up elsewhere.
This made Jackson’s SpongeBob meme tweet all the more curious on Tuesday night. Nobody has any idea what to make of it.
