Aaron Rodgers Feted by Fans During Rangers’ Playoff Game at Madison Square Garden

In this story:
The arrival of Aaron Rodgers is already paying dividends to the city of New York. On Saturday night, the new face of the New York Jets franchise attended Game 6 of the New York Rangers first round playoff series with the New Jersey Devils.
The Rangers, who are facing elimination down 3–2 in the series, needed a spark after losing three consecutive games to their Metropolitan Division rival.
With two minutes to go in the second period and the Rangers holding a 2–1 lead, a video appeared on the Madison Square Garden jumbotron showing Rodgers in his seat, leading the Rangers faithful to erupt into a frenzy.
Just moments later, the Rangers increased their lead to 3–1 on a goal by forward by Vladmir Tarasenko.
Rodgers is attending the pivotal playoff game with teammates Allen Lazard and Breece Hall. However, while Lazard was donning a Artemi Panarin jersey and Hall was sporting Mika Zibanejad’s No. 93, Rodgers was seen only wearing just a plain black hoodie.
If the Rangers stave off elimination and go on to win the series, you can be sure Rangers fans will be imploring Rodgers to make a return appearance.
