Charles Barkley Predicts Nuggets Will Win NBA Finals
With both conference finals currently sitting at 2–0, it can be easy to look ahead towards the NBA Finals. Still, there is a lot of basketball left to be played, and the leverage of each series can switch instantly.
That doesn’t stop Charles Barkley from believing one team is ready to win it all. The NBA on TNT analyst said the Nuggets are in prime position to win their first title.
“They’re gonna win a championship in my opinion,” he said. “I can’t wait to get to the finals because I know they have some good golf courses in Denver.”
Then, when Ernie Johnson asked if he was guaranteeing the win, Barkley obliged.
“Guarantee!” he declared.
Denver was the best team in the Western Conference all season, and they are currently undefeated at home in the playoffs. Up two games against the Lakers, the Nuggets have full control of the series with a chance to make their first NBA Finals.
However, the Nuggets still have to finish the job against a worthy opponent led by LeBron James and Anthony Davis, and if they don’t, they could make Barkley look like a fool.
