Aaron Rodgers Cracks Perfect Joke About Zach Wilson’s ‘Make Life Hell’ Comments

The budding relationship between Jets quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers and Zach Wilson appears to clicking on all cylinders despite signs pointing in the opposite direction prior to the former MVP’s arrival.

Back in early January, Wilson, following a poor second NFL season, went viral when asked about the possibility of New York adding a veteran QB in the offseason.

“I’m going to make that dude’s life hell in practice every day,” Wilson told the world on Jan. 9 as rumors persisted about whom the Jets might acquire.

Fast forward five months later, and it appears Wilson has fully embraced taking a different approach with Rodgers, whom the Jets landed on April 24. When asked Friday how he believes Wilson has handled the situation, Rodgers cracked a joke to sum up their bond.

“He’s been incredible. He hasn’t made my life hell everyday,” Rodgers said, before flashing a very telling smile.

With Rodgers firmly entrenched in the lineup as QB1, it stood to wonder whether Wilson’s relationship with the organization and/or the veteran quarterback would sour given the circumstances.

But, if Rodgers’s comment is any indication, Wilson appears to be taking his new role in stride and learning, despite seemingly being cast away by the team that selected him to be their franchise player under center with the second pick in 2021.
