Travis Kelce Claps Back at Ja’Marr Chase for Disrespecting Patrick Mahomes

One of the most sacred rules of any NFL offense is to always protect your quarterback and that means off the field too. In his latest podcast with his brother, Jason, Travis Kelce clapped back at Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase who took a bit of a shot at Patrick Mahomes

On June 13, Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow was asked who he thought the best quarterback in the NFL is and without skipping beat, he named Mahomes. Shortly afterward, Chase was asked the same question and named Burrow. When reporters told him that his own quarterback named the Chiefs signal-caller, Chase played dumb

“Pat who?” Chase asked.

Kelce did not like that at all. (Warning: the video below contains NSFW language.)

“Thought it was a little bold,” Kelce said on the New Heights podcast. “Guy’s a two-time league MVP, two-time Super Bowl MVP. To say ‘Pat who’ is like . . . I don’t know.”

After getting sidetracked for a bit, Kelce had one final message for Chase.

“It is what it is, dog,” Kelce continued. “Who doesn’t love some good locker room banter, man? Shoutout to Ja’Marr Chase for holding it down for his QB, but don’t you ever disrespect Pat Mahomes now. If you want to talk your s---, talk your s---, pimp. Just better back it up.”
