Philip Rivers Announced He Was Expecting a 10th Child and NFL Fans Had Jokes

The family of the eight-time Pro Bowler is “all fired up” about the next Rivers child on the way.

Former NFL quarterback Philip Rivers had a prolific 17-year career on the gridiron, and now, he’ll have yet another child with a shot to follow in his footsteps.

Rivers announced on Thursday that he and his wife Tiffany are expecting their 10th child together, via AL.com.

The Rivers family currently consists of nine kids (seven daughters and two sons) ranging from four years old to 21. The newest addition to the ever-growing progeny of the eight-time Pro Bowler will be a boy, Rodgers said.

“We are all fired up,” Rivers said, via AL.com. “Everyone was pulling for a boy. Even our girls wanted a boy.”

There have been plenty of jokes made over the years about Rivers’s large family, and the funny punch lines only increased on Thursday after the news came out.
