A Bird Pooped on Viktor Hovland During the British Open and Golf Fans Had So Many Jokes

What a moment at the British Open for the unfortunate Viktor Hovland.

The story of the first round at the 2023 British Open at Royal Liverpool has nothing to do with birdies made by the best players in the world, but rather, what one actual bird did to one of those great players. 

OK, maybe this wasn’t the story of Thursday’s action near Liverpool, England, but this was something you don’t normally see during a golf tournament, let alone a major championship.

Viktor Holland was getting ready to hit an approach shot from the fairway on the 15th hole when he stopped suddenly because.. a bird pooped on him.
