After last being seen treating fans to high-flying incredible dunks back in 2016, SlamBall—the 4-on-4 version of basketball played on trampolines—had fans buzzing with excitement on Friday night.

The games, which consist of five-minute quarters, reward teams with three points on dunks while shots converted outside the trampoline area are also worth three points. Players can attain a four-point basket if they successfully hit a shot from behind the arc.

The full-contact, fast-paced action commenced with the Rumble Squad squaring off against the MOB Squad on Friday. The season will conclude with two semifinal games on Aug. 15 and a championship game on Aug. 17.

The MOB’s Darius Clark electrified the Vegas and ESPN audience with a monstrous dunk over Rumble’s stopper Bakari Copeland early in the action.

If the buzz on social media is any early indication, the SlamBall partnership with ESPN is going to be a smashing success.

The return of the league elicited some fantastic responses, including one from two-time Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes and Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson.
