Shohei Ohtani Had MLB Fans Joking That He’s an Alien After What He Did to the Tigers

In this story:
Shohei Ohtani had himself a career afternoon on Thursday, which is saying a lot because so far his MLB career has been nothing short of stunning.
The right hander took the mound in Detroit and pitched his first ever complete game shutout for the Angels, giving up just one hit in a 6–0 win over the Tigers.
Ohtani struck out eight batters and walked just three, while needing 111 pitches to get the job done. He was also able to give his bullpen some rest on a day that the Angels and Tigers are playing a doubleheader.
This highlight reel of Ohtani mowing down the Tigers is pretty darn sweet:

It's like he can see the lines of the K zone. pic.twitter.com/lSNiIzPiiN
He’s just the coolest.
His performance was so good fans started to think he’s from a different planet:
This is all the proof we need for aliens. This guy isn’t human. https://t.co/w42ATqSGUn

Shohei is an alien, sure, but my biggest takeaway from this video is that maybe the Reds should trade for Chad Wallach https://t.co/opJm5OGOnR
