MLB Fans Couldn’t Stop Laughing at the Padres Over This Pathetic Decision by Third Base Coach

In this story:
The Padres are one of the most disappointing teams of the 2023 Major League Baseball season and those bad vibes continued Monday night when they lost to the Rockies, 4–3, to fall to 52–55 on the year.
Their stinker of a season was summed up perfectly by a stinker of a decision made by their third base coach, Matt Williams, on a play in the top of the third inning when he sent Juan Soto home on a single to center.
Was Soto able to beat the throw? No, no he wasn’t. He was thrown by a country mile and then comically tried to talk the ump into a blocking-the-plate call. The Padres even challenged the play, which made it more embarrassing.
