NFL Fans Were Rightfully in Awe of George Pickens's Stunning Catch at Steelers Camp

The start of the NFL season is still more than a month away, but the start of training camp means highlights are starting to pour in. And in Pittsburgh, second-year Steelers wide receiver George Pickens made a catch for the ages during practice on Tuesday that had fans in awe.

Pickens, who tallied more than 800 receiving yards in rookie season with the Steelers, went up against rookie Joey Porter Jr. in practice reps Tuesday. The result: One of the best plays you’ll ever see. Despite Porter Jr. running with him stride-for-stride, Pickens was able to work back to the football and snare the pass with one hand while in midair, despite taking a hit from Porter.

Here’s footage of the remarkable grab:

Pickens appeared to talk to some trash after making the catch, shoving the ball into Porter’s chest. Porter then threw the ball back at Pickens as he continued to celebrate.

Fans were wowed by Pickens’ incredible hands.

Take a bow, Mr. Pickens.

It could be a big year for the Georgia product and for the Steelers offense as a whole if Pickens is making catches like that.
