If it seems as if everybody is in awe of Shohei Ohtani, it’s probably because it’s true—everybody loves the coolest baseball player in the world.
Ohtani might no longer be able to pitch this season because of an injury he suffered last week, but he’s still serving as the designated hitter in Angels games, which is both wild and impressive.
He shared another cool moment Monday with someone who is in awe of him—the Phillie Phanatic. The legendary mascot had some fun with Ohtani as he got ready to go to the plate in Los Angeles’s 6-4 loss to the Phillies.
