Tom Brady Throws Eli Manning Under Bus When Asked Whether NFL Is Scripted

Every year, a handful of NFL observers bemoan the unsubstantiated conspiracy theory that the league is scripted.

Now, the GOAT has weighed in.

Legendary ex-Patriots and Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady discussed the matter in a video posted by the NFL on Tuesday. Brady addressed the viral rumor by making light of his two Super Bowl defeats against the Giants and then-quarterback Eli Manning.

“Do I think the NFL is scripted?” asked Brady.

“You think I really would have played along with a script that had me losing to Peyton’s little brother, Eli, twice in the Super Bowl? ...

“No.”

Despite being on the winning side of seven Super Bowls, it obviously irks the GOAT that he was on the losing end three times.

The Giants’ social media team replied humorously to Brady’s video that if those Super Bowls were scripted, they have no issues with the authors.

“Seems like a perfect script to us 🙃.”

Manning and the Giants beat the Patriots in Super Bowl XLII in February 2008 and Super Bowl XLVI in February 2012. Brady’s only other defeat in the big game came in Super Bowl LII against the Eagles.
