Cubs’ Christopher Morel Launched a Perfect Bat Flip After Crushing Home Run

In this story:
The Cubs entered the final month of the MLB season fighting for their playoff lives. And on Tuesday night they got a big come-from-behind 11-8 win at home over the Giants to help keep their postseason chances moving in the right direction.
The Cubs trailed 6-4 going into the bottom of the seventh inning, where they then put up six runs to take a lead that they would not relinquish. The biggest blow of the inning came when designated hitter Christopher Morel crushed a three-run home run to center field that sent Wrigley Field into hysterics.
The field-level camera caught a perfect shot of Morel’s bat flying through the air after the ball left the stadium:
This video makes me happier than I can possibly explain.

This is one of the sickest angles of a HR I have ever seen. Keep watching for the bat flip.
