MLB Fans Crushed Ump for One of the Worst Missed Calls of the Season on Pitch Down the Middle

Major League Baseball, as we’ve shown you way too many times this season, has had some really embarrassingly bad calls made by umpires. And we’re not just talking about those made by Ángel Hernández and Laz Díaz, who are two of the worst in the game.
Doug Eddings’s name is high up on that list and if you need more proof as to why, then just look at a call he made during Tuesday night’s Orioles-Angels game. Baltimore left-hander DL Hall threw a pitch that caught the center of the strike zone, only to be called a ball by Eddings.
