Cris Collinsworth Was in Awe of What the Cowboys’ Defense Did to the Giants in Blowout Win

In this story:
The Dallas Cowboys kicked off their 2023 season in style Sunday night, blowing out the New York Giants on the road, 40-0.
Leading the charge for the Cowboys was their stifling defense, which gave Daniel Jones and the Giants fits until the very final whistle. Dallas picked off two passes, sacked Jones seven times, and forced five fumbles. It was a dominant performance by a group that looked in midseason form.
NBC’s Cris Collinsworth was in awe of what Dallas did on the defensive side of the ball. He couldn’t believe how impressive the Cowboys looked and how silly they made the Giants look during the crushing defeat.
Listen to this praise:
"This is wild. I mean, just wild. They are just DESTROYING the Giants. DESTROYING them. I mean, some of these hits tonight have been extraordinary."- Cris Collinsworth on the Cowboys pic.twitter.com/bBWZkImRGq

He wasn’t wrong.
Next week, the Cowboys will look to take down another New York team when they host Aaron Rodgers and the Jets. You have to the think their defense can’t wait for that one.
