One week after nearly 70 NFL players opted out of the upcoming season, several officials have announced their intention to sit out of the 2020 season amid concerns over the coronavirus pandemic. The NFL Referees Association and the league have agreed that officials have until August 21 to decide whether to opt out of the season.
