No, I’m not talking about Brian Gay’s return to the winner’s circle after more than seven years, but the fact that he became the first player to win on the PGA Tour while wearing joggers. This comes on the heels of Tyrrell Hatton capturing the BMW PGA Championship on the European Tour a few weeks ago in a hoodie. And guess what? Golf has not been destroyed. In fact, it is thriving.
BG, who was named to our annual best-dressed list on two occasions, paired G/FORE’s sporty joggers with the brand’s Stellar Floral Polo with a tipped collar and cuffs for a sleek and modern look.

Fit of the Week goes to Joel Stalter and this sweet kit from Greyson. Green is the trendy color for Fall 2020 and Greyson’s Eastern Fur colorway is one of the best you’ll find this season. It easily pairs with all the navy blue, grey, and white in your closet. I recently added these pants to my wardrobe, and I can’t stop wearing them.

Is there a more perfect polo for this setting? The wispy and whimsical Cloudscape Polo is a strong complement to Bermuda’s bright blue skies and crystal blue waters. Sometimes it is good to keep your head in the clouds.

I get a bit nostalgic any time J.Lindeberg digs into its archives and reboots an iconic piece from the aughts. Such is the case with the Heath Polo. The JL bridge logo on the right sleeve reminds me of one of my go-to polos back in the day. The design jived with the whole asymmetrical vibe the brand had going on at that time. For 2020, JL updated the design with modern details including a lightweight TX Jersey fabric and sleek three-button placket.

Known for its traditional looks and generous cuts, FootJoy has made a noticeable pivot this year. The brand has taken its style game to a new level with slimmer fits and all-over prints. Of course, having a couple of the young guns on Tour showcasing your gear on a weekly basis helps.

New brand alert! Upstart label Boston Scott has grabbed our attention with a range of stylish prints that hits all the right notes, including this Moroccan Nights pattern. One of the cool parts of Boston Scott’s collection is a junior line of polos that matches many of the best shirts in the men’s line. You may have found your kit for that next Father-Son tourney.
Denny McCarthy (Dunning)
From soft violets to cool blues, Denny McCarthy cranked out some stylish looks over the weekend. He put a modern and sporty twist on Dunning’s classic threads with tonal prism prints, 5-pocket trousers, and on-point tailoring.
Johnson Wagner (Peter Millar)
With Movember upon us, it is only fitting to highlight one of the best ‘staches in the game. Johnson Wagner has been sporting a variety of crumb dusters on and off for more than eight years. In Bermuda, he kept it simple with a style that can best be described as a Regular Mo. That wasn’t Johnson’s only vibe. The bright red Budweiser rope cap is sure to spark a new headwear trend at the local muni.
