Dustin Johnson (Adidas Golf)
Seeing DJ rock a navy blue kit for the final round of the Masters was anything but surprising. The shirt and pants were perfectly framed by the contrast of his white hat and shoes. For a guy who has made the monochromatic navy kit his signature look, he doesn’t look bad in a green jacket.
Billy Horschel (Ralph Lauren)
Billy Horschel never misses a beat, and he mixes and matches his blues as well as anyone. He is also one of the few players to adopt the neck gaiter as a fashion accessory. Or in Billy’s case, maybe it is a neck "Florida Gator."
Rickie Fowler (Puma Golf)
While all eyes were on Rickie’s Puma Jackpot Pants in Amazon Green, he quietly laced up the prototype high-top we told you about a few weeks ago. These kicks appear to feature a Velcro strap on the back to prevent heel slippage and a “PUMA” print in the mid-foot area. Also, rather than a true high-top, they seem to check in at more of a 3/4 height. Stay tuned…
Justin Rose (Bonobos)
Since inking Justin Rose to an apparel contact a couple of years ago, Bonobos has gone all-in on rose prints. The cool aspect of this one is that it looks like a pattern you would have found on a foulard necktie in the ‘80s. The rich burgundy color is perfect for autumn.
Andy Ogletree (Peter Millar)
I’m always interested to see how amateurs roll out for the majors. Most just default to their templated college unis, but Andy Ogletree showed up and showed out in Peter Millar’s fashionable threads. One of the keys to being a well-dressed guy is finding brands that fit your personal style. Andy Ogletree and Peter Millar are a match made in golf style heaven.
Brandt Snedeker (Peter Millar)
A modern and stylish look for fall. Trim, heather-textured polo, tailored 5-pocket tech pant and matching webbed belt. However, the Blossom G/FORE Glove made this outfit with a strong pop of color.
Abraham Ancer (Black Quail Apparel)
During a week with so many pedestrian looks, Ancer’s mint polo and azul trouser combo woke me from my fashion slumber.
Victor Perez (Greyson Clothiers)
Simple and sophisticated. Plus, I was digging the special Laurel Wolf logo. Not only was Victor on-point in his new Greyson threads, but he was also doing good for humanity while looking good. He donated $1000 for every birdie and $5000 for every eagle he made in his “GainsForGood” initiative. This aims to assist the greater-Augusta community, which is facing a significant economic burden caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, Greyson is directly donating a portion of the proceeds from polos with the Laurel Wolf logo to the initiative.
Max Homa (FootJoy)
FootJoy has leveled up its fashion offerings lately. The one piece that was missing was a young dude that could really showcase its threads. FJ now has that with Homa.
Matt Wallace (J.Lindeberg)
