The Korn Ferry Tour’s Alejandro Tosti already earned his PGA Tour card for the 2024 season, but that’s not why he won’t be playing the remainder of the developmental tour’s first post-season event.

According to an online release from the Korn Ferry Tour, Tosti, 27, was forced to withdraw from this week’s Albertsons Boise Open due to an undisclosed “disciplinary matter.”

“Korn Ferry Tour member Alejandro Tosti was withdrawn from the Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron following the first round of competition, due to a disciplinary matter,” the statement read. “Per PGA Tour policy, the details of the issue and any related disciplinary action will be handled internally.”

Although the details of Tosti’s disciplinary action are unclear, mini-Tour expert Ryan French (known as Monday Q Info on Twitter) has reported that the Argentinian pro has been suspended from the Korn Ferry Tour.

“This comes after numerous alleged incidents throughout the season that have lead to him being suspended,” French wrote on Twitter.

Tosti entered the week in Boise at No. 4 on the KFT points list.

After the conclusion of the KFT Championship—which will take place from Oct. 5-8—the top 30 players on that points list will earn their PGA Tour cards for next season. Tosti’s officially locked up his PGA Tour membership after he won this month’s Pinnacle Bank Championship.

Tosti shot an opening round 67 before the Tour "withdrew him" from this week’s event in Idaho. The University of Florida product played in three PGA Tour events this season, including the Mexico Open where he finished T10.
