NBA reporter and host Cassidy Hubbarth has agreed to a multi-year extension to remain with ESPN, the company announced Monday.

In addition to Hubbarth's responsibilities as a studio host for ESPN's NBA and college football coverage, she will host a new NBA pre-game show on Twitter called Hoop Streams. The show will air an hour before NBA Saturday Primetime on ABC.

According to the New York Post's Andrew Marchand, Hubbarth turned down an opportunity to join Yahoo/Turner to remain with the Worldwide Leader. Hubbarth was reportedly offered a chance to have been a part of Yahoo/Turner's social media show, The Bounce.

Instead, Hubbarth will continue reporting for ESPN and ABC NBA game telecasts through the 2018-19 regular season, as well as the NBA playoffs. She will also maintain her role as a host for ESPN and ABC's coverage of college football. The nine-year ESPN veteran will additionally host WNBA studio coverage throughout the season and WNBA playoffs.

"To put it simply, I am excited to continue to do what I love for a company that has become my home and family," Hubbarth said in a statement.
