With the game tied at four in the bottom of the 10th inning, Rangers outfielder Leonys Martin hit a deep fly ball to rightfield. Springer tracked the ball to the wall and leapt to catch it.
In the top of the 14th, Houston catcher Hank Conger hit a two-run home run to give the Astros the lead. Springer recorded the final out of the game on a Rougned Odor line drive in the bottom of the 14th with the bases loaded.
