Luis Valbuena took Johnny Cueto deep in the second inning to give Houston a 2–0 lead over Kansas City in Game 5 of the ALDS.

The Astros third baseman followed up a single from Evan Gattis with a deep drive into the rightfield bullpen, putting the pressure on the opposition in an elimination game. 

The winner of the game will go on to face the Toronto Blue Jays, who pulled out a crazy win over the Texas Rangers earlier in the day thanks to Jose Bautista‘s go-ahead three run homer.
