Three years after the Boston Marathon bombings, survivor Jeff Bauman threw the first pitch before Monday’s Red Sox game.

Bauman, who lost both his legs in the attack, helped the FBI identify one of the bombers. He wrote a memoir, Stronger, which is being adapted as a moving starring Jake Gyllenhaal. Gyllenhaal joined Bauman to throw out the first pitch at Fenway.

Bauman also threw out the first pitch at a game in May 2013, just a month after attacks.
