Mets minor-leaguer Tim Tebow left an Arizona Fall League game on Monday due to an apparent right leg injury.

Tebow was hurt while attempting for his second stolen base of the season, sliding into second base awkwardly and feeling pain, according to MLB.com’s Jonathan Mayo. He was able to walk off under his own power, gingerly. He was thrown out on the play.

Tebow had been making his return to the field after leaving for broadcasting duty with the SEC Network. He had a pretty solid game last Thursday, singling and stealing second in a win. He’s 5 for 34 with a double and two runs scored in 10 AFL games.
