The Phillies will hold a second interview for three candidates to fill their open managerial role, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer's Matt Breen

Dusty Baker, Joe Girardi, and Buck Showalter will interview for the role, per Breen.

Philadelphia fired Gabe Kapler on Oct. 10 after two seasons with the organization. Kapler posted a 161–163 record with the Phillies, failing to make the playoffs in each season.

Girardi previously interviewed for the Mets managerial position as well as the open role with the Cubs. The former Yankees manager wants the Mets job "badly" according to the Chicago Sun Times' Gordon Wittenmyer

Showalter last managed in 2018 after nine seasons in Baltimore. Baker has logged 22 seasons as an MLB manager, last managing the Nationals in 2017.
