Rangers Fan Took a Video of Themself Catching Adolis Garcia’s HR, and It’s So Good

Rangers slugger Adolis García sent Texas fans into hysterics on Tuesday with his colossal three-run homer in the second inning that blew the game open against the Orioles and paved the way for Texas’s three-game sweep.

His 418-foot blast put the Rangers up 6–0, at which point the home fans could already start looking forward to the next round. García knew the ball was gone from the moment he made contact, sauntering toward first and tossing his bat away nonchalantly

It was an epic moment, but especially epic for one fan, who took an incredible video from their seat in the stands.

The video is from a mile away, but that’s what makes it so cool. The camera is trained on the ball from the moment it leaves García’s bat, which was easy because the ball was hit right at the person holding the phone. The ball disappears at the very last moment, but that’s because the man filming, Chris Wilson, caught the ball. (Scroll to the second slide of Wilson’s Instagram post to see him pose with the ball. The ball and the video make for two incredible souvenirs.
